My poor Cousin. They are really strapped for money. The have a 3 month old son and their landlord just told them that he selling the house. So not only does she have to worry about finding a new place (when they really dont have the money for it) but she also has people coming over all day long to look and they are having an open house on Sat. UGH!!!! Does anyone know of an apt. ( 1 Bedroom or 2) for 1000-1200. She has to be out by Sept. 1 and when she calls people (real estate) they laugh at her because of her price range or they never call her back. Also people arent thrilled with the fact that she has a 3 month old. Anyone know of any apts or where we can look even online!

try the pennysaver. they will have apts in her price range without a realtor fee. good luck.

Has she checked Farmingdale. There are so many co-ops for rent there.
