Please help my sister find a hall

Please help my sister find a hall

My sister is about to lose her marbles. She has looked at the following places.

The Fox Hollow
The Harbor Club
Woodbury Country Club
The Riviera
Hamlet WInd Watch
Westbury Manor ($$)
The Venitian ($$)
Flowerfields ($$$)
The Bayview House at Captain Bills
Milleridge Inn Cottage
Chateau La Mer

Either the room is too cramped, or she cant afford it, or her FH is not thrilled with the location of the place.

Can you suggest a place with the view like the Hamlet or on the water, but with a large room like The Milleridge Cottage? Or just another place in general she can look that isnt too $$$?

Ideally she loves The Thatched Cottage, but thats where I got married and she doesnt want to re do the same wedding.

Chateu le Mer - Sans Souci - Coral House (it's on a lake but makes for good pics)

That would be great, but apparently her FH only wants a Saturday night and in the summer...They already booked the Church for July 9 (my anniversary weekend )

Soooo, I guess at this point beggers cant be choosers right?

Definalty tell her to try Chateau La Mer.. It is absolutly gorgeous...The downstairs room is huge and its right on the water... ( i am pretty biased) its definatly worth a look

Re: Please help my sister find a hall

I agree completely! about Chateau La Mer...Ive been to about 4 weddings there and all were amazing...

She did love the room, but I think because we grew up very close to it they are not crazy about the idea plus we have many friends who have been married there.

but like I said, beggers cant be choosers right?

Does anyone know how many people Sans Sousi can fit? Is it for a smaller wedding? I do think they have that view they are looking for..

Windows on the Lake
Giorgio's (has views of beach, golf course, and garden with winery)
The one at Eisenhower park...I forgot the name
Lands End (but its just as expensive as flowerfield)

LOL Ok another stipulation SHE has....wants it to be one wedding at a time...

I think Swan Club and Giorgios are good ideas..but when my husband and I went to Giorgios 4 years ago, I remember it being $$ no?

How about the Old Field Club? Its on the water and reminds me of the Milleridge, and its only one wedding at a time.

Re: Please help my sister find a hall

also, what is their max price range? That might help for us to narrow it down!

It is on the smaller side - I REALLY wanted my wedding there but i knew it would be a little cramped. Tell them to check it out anyway - i dont think it would hurt to look and then maybe they will need to do some guest list damange control. But the price there is right - the view is AMAZING.

and yea - beggers cant be choosers

I am pretty sure Majestic gardens is going to be more then $110 on a sat night.

Why don't you check out larkfield manor. Its more then one wedding it does 2 at a time. But its really pretty inside and they work with you on the price and give you a ton of extras. They are really good with that.

but its not in a scenic area lol WOW this is hard finding a hall that fits all that.
