Hey girls, I know I've asked this question before, but now I'm desperate. I need someone who knows what they are doing with curly hair. I'm totally ready to do my own hair on the day of the wedding because it seems like no hair stylist knows how to not make my hair look like a frou frou dog. If you know what I mean? Has anyone with naturally curly hair had a good experience with a hair stylist for a simple half up half down style with a tiara??? Please help.

I have curly hair and I feel your pain. Perhaps you can wash/dry your hair the way you normally would (we all have our own 'method,' don't we!?) and then just have the stylist put it up for you, and tell them not to mess up the curls... it would probably be a good idea for them to touch them up though with a curling iron..

I have curly hair and I scheduled a trial with Jenn, The Hair Genie. She is a vendor on here. She is really nice, give her a call.

thonglori, can you explain what you mean about the curling iron. that sounds like a good idea.

I told her the minute I got her on the phone that I have crazy curls. She is in Floral Park but she can come to you. My trial is August 31. I believe the trial is $60, but I am not positive. Look her up under vendors.

Semi,
I mean that they can touch up your natural curl with a curling iron, for more definition... to prevent some curls from having minds of their own but not to over-do it!
