Please help - photographers - Perceptions, Natasha, Lina, Duet

Can anyone give me an idea of prices and packages for these photographers:

Perceptions
Natasha Staszak
Lina Jang
Duet

My budget is around $3000. Are these photographers out of my range? I'd like to get our album and parents' albums and negatives, proofs included in this price.

Duet, we actually booked them, they have a package for 3699 plus tax but thats including 2 photographers and videographer, I am sure you can bring the price down if you are only interested in photo

We are using Perceptions - His prices start at about $1500 I think. - But we played around w/ our 'package' .........I think your best bet is to go and met w/ everyone

Not too sure, so dont quote me on this but I think the photo (no video) for Duet is $2500. Check their official thread for more info. I'll bump it for you.

Actually, we went to see duet and for just photo they're not too willing to work on the price... it would have been $3800 for our photo only package, which of course makes zero sense since you can get a video and photo for less.

Lina Jang is in your price range. I think that I am going with her. I really like her work. The only reason why I am hesitant is b/c she only uses digital so I am not sure how I feel about that. Check out her website.

I actualyy have an appt at Preceptions tomorrow. Their stuff looks great on the website and they have a lot of different pacakages. I will report back after the visit.

I went to Perceptions today. Their work was awesome! I loved all the photos....The prices- too expensive. They have a ton of packages ranging from $2500 and up BUT if you want a 2nd photogrpaher which they highly recommend it's an additional $895. Then if you want the contemporary album that is on their website it's another $1000, and that is just for 60 images. They also limit the number of proofs you get with each package. Package A 300 proofs, B 400 proffs and so on. Getting what I wanted would have cost $6000 plus another $2245 for the video!!! I was really pysched before I went. But when you get there they tell you about all of the 'extras' and it adds up.My search continues..

hmmm, sounds like everything really adds up quickly. i'm not sure that i'd be able to get anything close to what i want with them on my budget. thanks for the information!

I decided on Perceptions photography. They are willing to work within your budget. I got information from other studios similar to theirs and then used that to add some more things into my package for no extra charge. I am very happy with what I'm getting and it was the best deal that I found. The staff has been very helpful especially Anthony the owner who left a personal message on my answering machine thanking me for coming to see their work. If you would like more info you can FM me, but I think that it is definitely worth a look at Perceptions. Hope this helps!

BTW... I am NOT using them for video. That is way too expensive!

Hmm we got photo only with Duet for about $2750, but that does not include parent albums. It includes 1 album for us, various prints, thank yous, about 500 proofs...They definitely do work with you, but if we added much more it would have been up to the package price. With parent albums it wouldn't be under $3000.
