It really depends on the specific designer and their size chart. The dress I ordered was one size smaller than my street size, meanwhile my friend ordered a dress three times bigger than her street size. I just think each chart is different.

My dress is a 6 and i'm a 2 or a 4 street size...my love is a Marisa.
I'm a MOH in May and that dress is an 8-Lazaro

definitely depends not only on the dress & designer, but the style as well. Me & my friend (who was getting married one month before me) both got our dresses from the same store, but her dress was ordered about a size bigger than her 'real' size and mine was ordered a size smaller. So it's hard to say. Mine was a corset kind of back though and I think those need to be smaller so that it threads and ties correctly (if it's too big, it'll tie too tight and look crappy).

My dress is Alfred Angelo and I ordered a 10- Again, depending on where my clothes are from, I range anywhere from a 4-6- and sometimes even an 8...Mostly I would say I wear a 6 in womens sizes- Dimension wise I'm 5'3- 145... does that help?
