Please help - should I change my colors? (see pic)

Please help - should I change my colors? (see pic)

My favorite color is blue, and BM dresses are already ordered. We're tentatively going with coral callas (or possibly coral callas + clown roses) for BM flowers with white or fuschia mixed in for MOH.

We're an afternoon wedding in August, and I like bright cheerful summery colors.

I was thinking our colors would be blue, coral and white/ivory (most likely white or ivory linens, programs, etc but with color accents). However, I'm a little afraid it might be hard to find things in those colors or that people will think they dont look good together.

We were thinking about doing white centerpieces with touches of peach, and using the coral flower petals to line the aisle. However, I'm undecided about whether we should go for bright centerpieces instead.

Please give me honest advice. I can't change the BM dresses but I can change anything else at this point. What do you think?

Edit: if you dont like them, please suggest a replacement

First, I think that dress color is GORGEOUS! and I think that the calas look good with it. I think if you stick with the coral as accent colors it will be great!!

Also- what designer is that dress??

Bill Levkoff -- more pix in my album. I'd probably use coral as my main color with blue as an accent or vice versa.

LOL I wish the people who were voting no would comment with suggestions. Wish I added a 4th option which was 'hate the dress, there's nothing you can change to make me like it'

I agree that I don't think I'd like the white with the coral for your MOH, but I definitely like the coral with the blue. You need a strong color flower to go with the dresses in blue and that definitely works!! I personally LOVE coral and want to incorporate coral in my BM b-oks.

Have you thought of doing coral for the girls and then coral with a fuschia for the MOH, maybe that would be better than coral and white.

Our florist had suggested that combo. I had originally wanted to do white callas alone for the BMs and coral callas for the MOH but he thought it needed more color. Fuschia might work too. Is it too many colors?

I don't think it's too many colors because the fuschia and coral mesh very well together. My brother had a beach wedding and they did blue dresses with coral and pink and I thought it was very pretty:

Hey! Of course I have to weigh in since we have the same BM dress fabric! I think it looks great with the coral, but the white might not be the best--I got the same reaction from florists (thought that's what I wanted too!). My girls are going to have Fuschia and med pink peonies, which hopefully will look good. I think if you mix in some fuschia it will be great with the coral!

HTH! I know it's so hard with this fabric b/c it's so pretty but you sort of feel like, uh oh, how is this really going to be? is it ridiculous? hehe....and there are like NO pictures of this color around really!

the fuschia is in the same color family as the coral so it looks great, it's a really nice tropical look

i thik its fine...but i also agree about the white...maybe a more creamy ivory would be better than a stark white?

Hey, I am another Bl Indigo Blue girl!!!! I was also very worried about this color, but I went to the bridal place theis past week to finalize the dress # and sash color - I was going back and forth with either sand or ivory sash. A girl that worked there suddenly somes from the back and brings me the dress that I picked (#308) in the color!! It was someone elses BM dress, but she let me hold both sashes up to pick a color. Let me tell you, I AM SOOOO HAPPY I picked that color. it was amazing!!! We have nothing to woprry about with that color and fabric. But, I think the coral will look very nice with it. I still have no idea what color I'm doing!!

I think those colors are gorgeous. What about mixing in a pale yellow?
