I seriously cant think of another song to be played for anything else. After choosing all the songs for the dj and trying to come up with a great must play list, and choosing all the songs for the ceremony my brain is totally fried on this subject. I need to come up with 10 good songs to put in our video and they cant be any of the songs that we are using for things at our reception bc those will obv be on the video anyways. Can anyone help me with some different songs?? I need a few slow, a few upbeat etc... I'd like to use stuff thats a little outside the box... I mean I love that different version of somewhere over the rainbow, but if i hear it in another wedding video my ears are going to explode. got any unique ideas?

no, we arent doing a montage. Its for the production of the wedding footage. I dont know why they need it now, but i have to bring it with me to my final meeting next week.

If you want upbeat songs for certain segments, you will want to let your videographer know so that they keep that in mind while they are filming. They may look for edgier angles ect.
You might want to breat out- Bride getting ready/ all the different parts that you will need songs for first.
One that I LOVE for Bride getting ready is Cherish by Madonna. It's a classic and upbeat. I hope to have my girls and I dancing around while getting ready at some point.
Do a search, I'm sure the Newlyweds have discussed this (you usually do this after the wedding).

We are going to be using 'Stolen' by Dashboard Confessional 'Love Reign O'er Me' by The Who 'Maybe I'm Amazed' by Wings 'Such Great Heights' by Postal Service
We need 11 for our video..so I am still trying to come up with some...
If you want something a little different I would try doing a search on itunes for 'alternative' love songs. I think they have an itunes essentials collection of love songs for the 'modern' day couple that are different than the norm.
