i just received my contract from my band and it was sooooo vague. It had my name, wedding date, place, and time. Also a place for the deposit amount and balance. I thought it was suppose to have a part about taking breaks, the band members names, etc. Can aynone tell me exactly what I should expect in writing in the contract. Thanks in advance for your help!!!!1

Our contract was like yours too. You want to discuss what breaks they'll be taking and who/what will play during the time when they eat dinner, and what time they have to be there for set up.

Definitely include the number of breaks, how much time they will actually be playing (number of minutes out of the entire time of the wedding they are expected to play), what type of music is provided during the breaks (taped or live).
Don't worry about the names of band members, just worry about having the number of musicians in the contract. Having the names NEVER means anything. It will not guarantee you a thing.

THANKS FOR THE TIPS. I JUST SPOKE TO THEM AND THEY ARE SENDING ME IN WRITING THE BAND MEMBERS THAT WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE . HE ALSO SAID THEY PLAY CD BACKGROUNDMUSIC, AND THE MAITRE'D TELLS THEM WHEN TO BREAK FOR DINNER ETC..
