The other day I was in a fender bender. I was in a parking lot, waiting to go as a woman crossed from her car to the stores, and a woman backing up did not look behind her and hit me. Since she was going so slow and I was stopped there is MINIMAL damage on my car and none on hers. She wants to pay out of pocket for the work to my car.

I had a body shop I planned to go to that my BIL had used a few times. I am having a hard time getting in to see them and need to find a place soon! I'm thinking of trying another place.

Can anyone recommend a good body shop that will give me a detailed estimate somewhere between Massapequa and Bellmore? THANKS A MILLION!

It's a little East of Massapequa but my family has used Centerline Collision on sunrise HWY a few times and they are usually pretty reasonable.

Good Luck with that...I work in auto claims and I see so many situations like this where the person then gets pissed once the estimate is given to them..and they change their mind about paying.

I used a great one in Lindenhurst. Is that too far for you?

Thanks ladies! I went to Centerline. Turns out a friend of DH and his family use them exclusively. I went by today and they were very nice there and the estimate is about $580, which these days is the simplest of jobs. All they have to do is smooth out the spot, touch up the paint, and replace a molding. I appreciate all the help!
