Please help with DOC

I'm considering getting a DOC, but I'm not sure yet if I will get one (really depends on budget)...
...when should I start looking for one?
...when should I book with one?
...approximately how much does one cost?
....any suggestions for good ones?

I met with a few DOC's but didn't book until January 07.....I would suggest reading reviews on the brides review board and meeting with a few to see if you click. I used Francesca from Dazzling Affairs- she was fabulous!!

DITTO! Eliana was my DOC for my October 12th wedding and did a fabulous job.

I booked her earlier this year.

DOC is Day of Coordinator...she's the person who takes care of everything on the day of the wedding so the bride, groom and their families don't have to worry about anything.

Thank you ladies for your advice about DOCs...I've contacted a few already!
