There are 2 bridal gowns that I'm torn between. I'm a plus-size girl, so while I like tulle in my gown, I'm afraid that'd it'd make me look even heavier. I'm already pear-shaped as is). The one with the tulle is by Kenneth Pool I believe. The other bridal gown is all silk (Vera Wang, in fact) and has no tulle on the outside. I'm wearing the Vera Wang gown in the pic. Which dress do you think looks good on me? I figure that less is more, so I tried looking for less ornate dresses....I'm still undecided, ugh...please advise....
Oops, I meant that I'm totn between THIS dress & the Vera Wang one (without the tulle)....Please help me decide what would look good on my pear shaped figure...

Omg i love that kenneth pool dress! Have you tried it in? The bottom doesnt look so big. It looks romantic and coulld look amazing on

the second one is gorgeous. I think that silk is a very unforgiving material and if there is one little crease it it or wrinkle it shows up in pictures. I love how the second one is sparkly and a great cut too

I agree - LOVE the cut of the 2nd dress!!! Give it a shot and see how you feel in the fabric...otherwise, I would have to think that a cut like that would be quite flattering on a pear shaped body. I have a healthy set of hips...I like to so 'voluptuous' haha and I tried one on by Amsale with that same exact cut and LOVED IT! Check out AMSALE, too....

the second dress would def be more flattering and it's a gorgeous dress! I think the way it is cut will cinch in your waist and flow away from your hips.
Btw, I lOOOVE the vera wang dress too, it's very couture but I feel like it'd be a hard dress to pull off for most bodies

I think the vera will look better. The one on u in shiny and won't be as flattering as something with a higher and more defined waist with ruching.

I LOVE th dress with the band at the waist. I think that will draw the eye to make your waist look smaller then it actually is! It's BEAUTIFUL and you will look BEAUTIFUL in it!!!! GL!

both are beautiful and you will look amazing no matter what, as long as YOU feel comfortable and you LOVE the dress, then choose that one!

the dress that you have on in that pic, is that one of the dresses on the models? because it doesn't look the same at all. i believe that dress is empire waist. with t hat said, you really have to try dresses on to see if they will look ood or not. anyone of us can tell you that dresses look good on a pic or not but until you try them on you'll never know what you like and what looks good. if you want something more understated, go for that. but don't not get something more ornate because your a plus size gal
