PLEASE HELP...LOST MY RINGS IN HUNTINGTON MCDonald's

Ladies I am asking for all of your help... I am at my wits end and haven't slept since yesterday afternoon when I ran into the Huntington McDonald's on Rt. 110 and Broadway. I was washing my hands and took my rings off and their was a lady banging on the door. I was rushing out for her and I left my rings on the sink in the bathroom!!! It was the worst 4th of July of my life. I am SOOO DEVASTATED!!! I can't believe I did that. I didn't realize until I was on the highway-we rushed back but they were gone. I have been crying ever since-I know that whoever has my engagement ring and wedding band knows they belonged to someone and I am praying they find it in their heart to call the mgr of the McDonald's or the local police and turn them in. There would be no retaliation I just want them back and would be forever grateful. I am hoping that whomever took them told someone and they will contact me. My anniversary is in a few weeks and I am a total wreck. Please if anyone hears anything please let me know -you all are my last hope. I have attached pictures my engagement ring below. Thanks

OMG This is terrible. I really pray someone finds it in their heart to turn them in. I always return ANYTHING I find as IM a true believer in Karma. I also hope if they are turned in the manager is honest enough to tell you about it.

You should find out if there is a security camera pointed towards the bathroom. You KNOW the woman who came in next must have the rings.

You should notify the local pawn shops. I think they will notify you or the police if they get brought in. They generally don't want to get in the middle of trying to sell rings that they know aren't for sale for by owner. Not that it is the same thing, but my son's cell phone (he is 12) got stolen from the band room this year. Almost the last day of scholl, it reappeared, hidden in the band room that was once checked. In other words, the person who took it, had a change or heart. It took almost a month but it came back. Don't give up all hope yet. I would def post signs there. People tend to frequent the same McDs. Good luck.

I am so sorry..I hope they are returned to you..Its awful to think that some dishonest person would take them and not return them..I will keep you in my prayers..just remember that there are honest people left in the world..I would return something if it didn't belong to me

OMG that is so terrible that someone would take your rings!!! How could they lack the decency to bring them to the manager??? Wow, some people really astound me... Well, I hope hope hope that they find their way back onto your fingers. And remember, karma is a bit$h, so not to sound like the sadist that I am ( ) so hope she gets hers! Good luck

Are there cameras in McDonalds that you can see who went in afterwards? not sure if it would help...I guess technically they werent' stolen but maybe the police could view them?

That is so terrible! I hope that you get them back!!!

GOOD LUCK!!! Definitely put feelers out at pawn shops too - not just local ones. There's a bunch in Patchouge as well. Not totally related, but when my dog went missing we faxed the missing poster to ever shelter and vet on Long Island - you could do something like that.

Also maybe you should try and locate the nearest pawn shops in the area and check those out. She may have tried to pawn then already. Check the jewelry shops too. Good luck!
