PLEASE HELP...LOST MY RINGS IN HUNTINGTON MCDonald's

Ladies I am asking for all of your help... I am at my wits end and haven't slept since yesterday afternoon when I ran into the Huntington McDonald's on Rt. 110 and Broadway. I was washing my hands and took my rings off and their was a lady banging on the door. I was rushing out for her and I left my rings on the sink in the bathroom!!! It was the worst 4th of July of my life. I am SOOO DEVASTATED!!! I can't believe I did that. I didn't realize until I was on the highway-we rushed back but they were gone. I have been crying ever since-I know that whoever has my engagement ring and wedding band knows they belonged to someone and I am praying they find it in their heart to call the mgr of the McDonald's or the local police and turn them in. There would be no retaliation I just want them back and would be forever grateful. I am hoping that whomever took them told someone and they will contact me. My anniversary is in a few weeks and I am a total wreck. Please if anyone hears anything please let me know -you all are my last hope. I have attached pictures my engagement ring below. Thanks

I am so sorry. Who ever has it should return it.
I know it's sentimental and cannot be replaced but do you have insurance on it?

I hope whoever found them does the right thing...did you give management there your contact info??? Praying you get them back!

Thank you-I hope they do-yes we added the ring to our home insurance but it will not cover the amount to replace the rings as the price of gold and diamonds are through the roof right now. We have children and it will be a struggle to come up with the additional money. We went to see our jeweler and are waiting to hear if he can get us the same exact setting because it really was a unique style-it looked like the Tacori rings with the box mounting of diamonds around the center diamond and the wedding band slid underneath. I just can't stand to think of someone else taking it apart or pawning it. They are extremely sentimental and so personal. I feel completely violated and devastated. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that someone will come forward with some information or just didn't want to hand it over to the Mgr and will call to get my information so that they can return it to me. I know it sounds so naive but I would have never taken someone's engagement ring and wedding band - I would have defintely waited around until the owner came back for them. I know I can only blame myself but I am hoping someone will realize how devastated the owner of the rings arre.

OMG I am sooo sorry...i do that too but I put it in my pocket instead...do you have your rings insured? I hope you do!!

The Mgr at the McDonald's has my information and said he would contact us if anyone calls.

I really hope there is one decent enough person on this earth that will do the right thing and return them! I would if it was me, with out a doubt!

Hmm, why do I have a sneaking suspicion Ms. Antsy-pants-can't-wait-a-minute has your rings?

Have you thought about posting something in Newsday's personals or if the manager of McDonalds will let you put up a 'lost' poster?

I am so sorry! If it's any consolation, my friend lost her deceased mothers wedding ring. 3 days later she got a call from her bank. Someone found it in the parking lot in front of the bank and the teller called everyone who made a transaction that day. I hope that gives you hope.

There are good people in the world believe it or not and I'm praying for you!

ladies thank u so much for all of the kind words-I really need to hear them. I am going to be a familiar face at that McDonald's and I will ask them about posting the sign. I was ready to call Channel 12 news!! Somebody doesn't pick up rings like that and doesn't tell a soul. I am praying for her to have a heart and call me. St. Anthony is right!!!!

OMG I'm going to pray that they return your rings, I can't imagine keeping someone else's rings esp. knowing that they are engagement and wedding rings....
