Re: Please I need help!
I would look at:
Fox Hollow Crest Hollow Woodbury Country Club (They're going to be doing renovations but I dont think they start until 2010) Beach Club Estate in Lake Ronkonkoma Chateau La Mer Coral House Jericho Terrace Leonards Metropolitan Westbury Manor Villa Lombardis
These should all be in your price range depending on what type of entrees you select (if you want to upgrade) and if you want a viennese hour and extras like that.
Feel free to FM me if you have any more questions!

You can def have a nice wedding at many places if you can spend $110 - $115 per person. Don't stress.

Larkfield Manor is reasonable, gorgeous and with terrific food.
I hear that Thomas Stewart Manor in Farmingdale is reasonable also. don't know if your date is for Sat nite, but doing afternoon or Frid/Sun will reduce price per person. don't forget figure tax/tp when looking at prices - - that adds $20 or more to the pice AND then you also need to include $$ for maitre d and bridal attendants !!

Re: Please I need help!
There are a handful of RHs that do all inclusive, they are for example 5k for 100 people, etc. You just have to search them. I know Arianna Waterfall does this and Meditteranean Manor did do this-not sure if they still do tho.
Good luck

Re: Please I need help!
why don't you try to book a place that you like but have a small buffet of quality food. I just wen to a place in NJ last week, The Newark Club. it had nice views of NYC and my aunt did a buffet mostly of seafood. The food was amazing. The dessert buffet was great.
The tables were set up like cocktail, no placecards etc... centerpieces were potted orchids (in crystal) ppl could take home. favors were cookies in metallic blue chiese takeout boxes. Everything was very nice. I enjoyed myself a lot. You can def save $$ on this and still have a beautiful wedding.
Best of luck

Re: Please I need help!
It really depends on the season and day. If you want a saturday night in the summer, you pay top dollar. But if you can do a friday or sunday, its a little more reasonable. Or if you do an 'off season' wedding you can save a ton of money.

We're on a budget too so we're getting married at the Swan Club - the grounds there are beautiful and everytime we've gone everyone has been so nice and helpful!

depending on how many and what time of year, i would look at the Riviera. they gave us a great price for a saturday evening in may, but i've seen a lot cheaper there in other months. its also gorgeous so now we're rethinking having to go other places for pics.
