Please let me know if I'm being unreasonable!
Okay, this is definately a little vent but I need to know from other brides if you guys would accept this.....
I'm getting married in 26 days and I asked my 2 only female cousins to be my jr. bms. They are sisters, 9 and 12. The younger one had no problem with anything, very easy going liked any dress I picked out.
The 12 year old has been difficult from day 1, a year and a half ago. Really long story short, I finally gave her an out about 5 months ago bc she would just have a mini tantrum/breakdown bc she didnt like the dress, the colors, anything! So, she decided to drop out. Thats fine, we understood eachother and moved passed it. Shes going to be a 'special attendant' passing out programs and stuff.
A little rewind....my moh is wearing rose petal, and bms and jr bm, fern (in my album). My only sister is my MOH and wanted to stand out so i let her have that color and I'll tie in the bms with lots of pinks in the bo-ks.
Now, less then a month before the wedding and my aunt and cousin decided on a dress and when I went to go see it, the color is 'coral', more like light pink, satin, a-line with rhinestones on top, almost identitcal to the bp. Now after all I have done to accomodate her, letting her help, be involved, still come in the limo, this is the dress they decide on a purchase!!! I thought right away this looks like she tried to match my sister but was slightly off. I just couldn't take it, slept on it for a couple days to think and I finally told my aunt today explaining me and my sister decided she was going to stand out with me and its just too similiar can you please get at least a different color, (even though I want a different dress too). She agreed but seemed pissed.
So sorry it's long but please let me know if I crossed the bridezilla line.![]()
