The Wedding Center in Commack in regards to bridesmaid dresses. I believe they are more affordable than most other places. Some of my BM's are young and they can't afford expensive dresses so this is why I figured I would take them there. I heard they are not good with their alteration dept., but it's ok b/c they are OOT bridemaids and they will be taking them to their own places for alternations.
Do they carry most maufacturers? Did any of your bridesmaids purchase their dresses from this place? Please let me know.. I was thinking of making an appt. with them, but if it's not a good idea I won't bother. Thank you!

A friend and fellow bride on here got her BM dresses there with no problem. However she got alterations done elsewhere.

To be honest I was a BM in a friends wedding about 10 yrs ago and we used them and they were HORRIBLE. My dress was wayyyyyyyy to big, it came in late, and the people were nasty. You may spend a few dollars more elsewhere but in the end, it will be worth it. JMO HTH

I just spotted this post , I have to say , from my experience, I think this place is getting a bad rap,
Iver purchased a few things from here allready & not one problem, I live pretty far from there so If i was unhappy with the service , I would drive the hike to get there.
yea , you dont get white glove service with champange & strawberrys handed to you when you walk in the door,, Buth the prces are phenominal,,
Id much rather have my bridesmaid's spend alot less money on their gowns, & my gown as well, then get robbed at a boutique that 1/2 the money is going towards the rent for the owner,,
By no means am i looking to have a crappy off the rack type of wedding, but i think that if your looking to save a buck here & there , give the placae a try,,
Do they hoard you when you walk in , with , the can i help yous 20x no, but my op[inion is I dont want that either,,
I dont mean to sound harsh here , but I knwo all us brides are going fro broke here , & why pass up a place veacuse of one or 2 bad expericnces when you can really beneifit by it,,
