Do you think that I should say something if I feel like people are overstepping their boundaries or should I just count to 10 and keep it all in so I don't offend anyone - going crazy all the while??? please be HONEST!!

defintely say something. I had to let my MOH know that this was MY wedding this morning(she was demanding to wear melon when i want them to wear coral, she thinks she looks better in melon). You need to remind people of the same, when it gets to ridiculous point, as nicely as possible, and if niceness doesn't work then o well. let em have it.

I'm a count to 10 person, but of course I understand that everyone handles things differently. But in a month, a year, or 10 years from now, will these battles still be that important? Will 'winning' them significantly change your life for the better?

I think it depends on the circumstances. I think there's definitely a time when you need to put your foot down. Don't let anyone make big decisions for you or give you such a hard time over decisions that you've already made. Stand up for yourself, just don't be nasty about it. If you're going to say something, and I know I probably would, just make sure to give it thought BEFORE you open your mouth. Be careful with your choice of words so you get your point across without offending anyone.

I feel exactly the same way! I'm not sure what to do either! My FSIL's want hair/makeup trials and they need their dresses to be altered so that they can try them on with the trials, etc...

I am the type of person that NEVER says how I feel (except to my FH and mom) and I just let everything blow over and tell myself that it'll 'work itself out' but I'm at a point where there are less than 4 months to go before we get married and I just want to SCREAM that 'YOU ALL ALREADY HAD YOUR WEDDING SO LET US HAVE OURS HOW WE WANT TO' but I know that's not the appropriate thing to do!!!
