PLEASE LI ladies...help me with my itinerary

as most of you know, I am a Brooklyn girl. I am planning to visit a few photographers this Saturday and I was wondering if you can help me organize the order in which I should visit each of them. I am trying to do it in distance order, so that I am not going all over the place.

How would you organize the following (and how much time shoud I allot per visit?)

12th Night- Garden City Park
Perceptions- Massapequa Park
Sherwood Triart- Woodbury
Bill Minnick- St. James

I would say an hour for each appointment, and tell them that you only have an hour. And then leave yourself enough time to get to the next one.


You could also go to map quest and set up a map that will help you with the best directions. I would start off in St.james it's the furthest, then to Massapequa, then Woodbury, and finally Garden City Park. Good luck.

also i would make copies of a list of questions you want to ask them- this way you can take notes and compare when you get home.

we stayed an hour and half typically with each photographer...
although perceptions was longer...don't mean to put a damper, but they were very unprepared and we had an appointment and they made us wait so that they could talk to a walk-in couple, so it took a little longer then an hour and a half...
that sounds snotty on my part, but i was just surprised, since I made the appointment before hand...

definitly start in St. James...it's the furthest

I spent an hour with Bill. I definitely think you should allot 1 hour per vendor. I used Rand McNally (like mapquest) to help me plan my route. I also started in St. James and worked my way west. Jessica, tell Bill I say hi!

If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be going to see him, so thanks! And, if I book him, you get a drink on me at the next GTG!


Thanks for the help ladies. thankfully FH has clients on LI so he's plotting out our course too.

I am fan of going out east and work your way in. Here is my order advice.

Bill Minnick- St. James

Sherwood Triart- Woodbury
