our outline looks pretty much the same except we have a first and second reading. maybe that's bc my priest is determined to make us have a full mass whether we realize it or not.

I am only having a ceremony also and i was told to have 2 readings and the gospel. Well another thing to e-mail cuz about.

I'm only doing a ceremony, not a full mass. And I was told I needed two readings and the prayer of the faithful. I don't think you have a gospel with Þhe ceromony only.

i guess it is every priests preference
i asked him how many readers do i need he said one and that he would do the gospel reading

It might be different per church. But I am only having a ceremony and we have a first and second reading, the gospel and the praayer of the faithful.
He said it is not a full mass only for the reason we are not having communion but everything else is the same.
