Please look at this pic and give me your opinion.....

this is a pic of the back of my dress. Instead of 3 large rhinestone buttons as shown, I have 5 (it looked better that way). I was planning on putting small rhinestone buttons all down the back in one long line starting from the top (or course I would remove the silk covered buttons), and continuing all the way down the train. What do you girls think, should I leave it as shown or add the buttons? My dress is very plain and I thought it would be nice to jazz the back up a little more.

Advice?

It is very hard to see the rhinestone buttons. I like it the way it is...it looks beautiful..do you have a pic of the front?

This is really hard, because that gown is amazing on it's own, and sometimes the simpler, the more amazing!

But your idea is fabulous. Would these be the same quality stones that are on the back now? I'd just be careful of what kind you pick.

I like it the way it is. The rhinestone buttons, might be too much. IMO simple is good.

Here is the front execpt-

- I do not have a shawl
- My dress is off the shoulders and not strapless.
- I do not have the pic ups in the front.
- I hope to look slightly happier than the girl in the pic.

Also, as far as the stones matching, that is the problem. There is an 'antique' finish to the metal that I am having trouble matching.

Beautiful beautiful dress. If it were mine, I would leave it. If you're heart set on rhinestones on the back, I would only do it where there are buttons, I wouldn't continute them down the train, but that's JMO.

I think the dress is beautiful just the way it is, but I also think you should do what will make you happy.

I like the dress the way it is, it is beautiful and elegant. If you really do have your heart set on putting more rhinestones on the dress, I would only put them in place of the satin buttons and not down the train.
