i need to know how to make a monogram on word and then put in on jpeg or pdf file i am completely clueless and over whelmed

Whenever i want something in word to show up as a PDF then i simply just hit print and switch the printer to Adobe PDF and then just name the file what i want. It 'prints' the doc into a PDF document.
