We invited 124 and got 52 yes then 20 of those did not show up at all. Alot told us that it was because of the weather (on our wedding day is when all the rain and wind from hurricane ike hit Ohio). But then again... Let's just say we only took home 7 wedding gifts and that is all.... So we have no idea what happened.

I'm a little dissapointed at the ones who said 'no'. Some were family that said they were coming and decided that they weren't anymore. Other family memebers live out of state. I made sure that I went to their functions, why can't they come to mine???

I think we invited about 150 and had 102 show....that's with 3 couples RSVP yes...and just not showing...

We invited about 185 and 135 rsvp'd yes, then 10 dropped the week before our final count- and 6 didnt show- so actual total was around 119.

i wouldnt worry so much as to how many no's...the room will be packed with people who want to celebrate your special day.
and honestly...the less people you have...the more time you can spend with each of them

im not sure yet.....we invited 214 and so far we have 85 yes responses and about 10 no responses....that isnt including my parents, grandparents and some bridal party attendents b/c they havent send their cards back yet so i know we are having at least 94 people as of now...we are still waiting on about 120 responses (about 60 couples)....so we'll see what happens...i have a feeling most of those will be no responses - im hoping we get around 150 but i won't be surprised if we come in at closer to 120....that is REALLY a big difference from our minimum.....but we didnt want to over invite, we cut our guest list SO many times and now im wondering if we made a mistake doing that - we wanted to keep it smaller, we def could have gotten our minimum if we over invited but i didnt want to risk going over, we rather have a smaller affair, but i hope its not too small now!

135 invited 101 yes 34 no 98 attended 1 called DH as he was in th elimo on the way to the ceremony to say he could come but needed our address so he can send a gift. STILL WAITING ON THAT ONE! 2 no shows.

225 Invited 156 Came-including two no shows (were dates) Our min was 175, needless to say I wasnt a happy camper...but the day of the wedding I couldve card less. Handful of oot guests my FH assured me would come didnt (he's from cali), some friend friends and fam who we thought would come didnt, my boss...you never know...we could have easily invited more people but were were trying not to go over our min...oh well.
worked out well though, we boxed the food for those seats we payed for and served it at my mothers house the next day. yum yum

i invited about 145 and i think our final count was 132
our guest list was mainly family and very few friends, i think about 110 was family, so i think thats why we had very little no's
