I saved pictures somewhere of different bustles for Bill Levkoff's 966 and know I can't find where I saved them. I really want to avoid cutting the train and sashes.
And my girls dresses came in last week -- I want to get a start on alterations

We cut the train and sash to floor length.
The girls decided that they didnt want to bother with a bustle-
It looks fabulous afterwards!!!!

This is what we plan to do too .... I don't want the girls to have to worry about a train, and tripping on it if the bustle doesn't hold up.
I found this pic a while ago on here, not sure who's wedding it is though!

We'll be cutting the sashes and mini-train to floor length, but AeroJenn did something interesting with the back:

We kept the train and after pictures they bustled them...excuse the wrinkles and messiness...they are pinned and just out of the bag

cut them! I had to wear this dress recently and the dress bustle and the ribbon bustle were heavy and kept falling out! All 6 of us had them altered at different places and all of them were having hte same problems

we have the 550 (which is a similar style) the girls are getting teh sashes cut to floor length and keeping teh train with a simple bustle (sorry no pics yet)

We hemmed the sash to the floor, but the skirt still had a train. I don't really have a good pic of the back on the day of, but here are some from when my MOH picked up her gown:
