Please post pics of bm dresses that flatter all body types!
Hi Everyone:
I am just in the beginning stages of my planning and my bms are already asking my colors and what their dresses will look like, lol. They are all so excited. (I have not picked a date or all my girls yet, so they are majorly jumping the gun, lol!) But I was just wondering if you guys had some pics of bm dresses that would flatter all sizes that you could PRETTY PLEASE post for me to get some ideas. Any color suggestions? I know black is flattering but I was just in a wedding that had all black bm gowns and it was not my thing. I am pretty much thinking May of 2009 so I want something pretty and springy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I think any empire waist satin dress would flatter any body type in any color. my BM dresses are in my album.

my bms ranged in size from 2 - 16 and a 4 month pregnant one too!

i am using black i know you don't want that but the dress itself is flattering to all shapes and comes in diffrent colors as well

My BMs ranged from a size 6 to a size 12 - They chose this dress. They were very happy with it and it seemed to flatter everyone.

actually davids bridal just came out with a whole new line of bm dresses and almost all of them would look fantastic on all body shapes. most of them are tea length if you like that sorta thing. i think it looks beautiful. hth

I think this, with the double V-neck, would be flattering to a lot of sizes, and it's sort of a modified empire. It's Alvina Valenta, though, which is expensive. There's a similar Watters dress with a wide tea length skirt in the new Spring dresses. I love that one, I'm considering getting it as a RD dress and for dinners on the honeymoon.
If you've got bigger girls, consider something with straps or sleeveless. Or go with the David's or Alfred Angelo lines that have mix and match tops and skirts.

I had girls from sizes 6 to 24 and I let them choose between 2 very similar style dresses.
Although I should note: if any of your girls are top heavy, empire waist will NOT look good on them!!! I had to wear an empire waist dress for my cousin's wedding and it made me look even bigger on top than I already was!!

mine do... hers's a pic of the model in the dress... and in my album is so far just my MOH (lil sis) and my psuedo moh (her's is huge dont mind her silly face)

Alfred Angelo # 6493 Looks GREAT on all body shapes & sizes...
this is my girls dress in espresso - I included the teal color so you can see how it wraps or gathers to the side...very flattering!
