Hey girls-- So I am super bummed out. I just went to my florist yesterday and they told me that I could not have peonies as my bo-k. This was really frustrating because when I booked with them over 6 months ago they said it would not be a problem because there are flower places that they could order them from, even though they would not be in season. I also agreed to pay a lot for my bo-k. Now they state that they could order it, but could not garantee that the flowers will be open, so to be on the safe side pick other flowers. Any suggestions of fluffy flowers. We plan on using hydrangeas but need other flowers. Please post picks.

i would definitely ask if they could do either english garden roses or a specific varitey of pink rose called esperance this rose has a very high petal count and opens big and fluffy similar to peony. you could also try asking for peony tulips but at that time of year tulips are just as out of season as peonys so its probably just as undoable, but heres a pic just in case good luck! its too bad your florist is unable to get peonies but if they dont feel the quality will be up to par than its understandable..better to have similar flowers than dead flowers!
