Hi, I need some good photographers to check out that are reasonably priced. Oh, and what is reasonably priced? Has anyone heard anything about Duet or Rennaisance?

You should go with who *you* feel comfortable with. Some people are going to love certain photographers, some people will get very strong good/bad first impressions. I liked Duet very much when I went to see them, but I wound up booking with Verdi. I just felt so at ease with Rich and Mindi. They are expensive, but I figured that photography is what you have when the wedding is over, and I made that my 'splurge' item. I met with a popular photographer on here that I don't want to badmouth because I think my objection was stylistic, but I *really* didn't like them. I knew within the first three minutes that I hated their work. However, I know that lots of girls on here book them and love them. Its very personal. Go and see a few and book with who you like best. No vendor on here is going to get a 100% rating all the time. .

We are looking for a photographer now as well. I agree that it is important for you to meet with each photographer and then decide who you and FH click with the best.

I'd have to say Duet. I'm a bit biased because I used them but I really do believe they are great and they really work with you in terms of customer service. You just really need to provide them with a list of must take pictures that you want and your vision for your day. You will get that and more pictures after as well. Just check a few and then decide not only who you feel most comfortable with but also with whom you are getting the best deal. Good Luck on your search !!
