My MOH is my sister and she has done so much for me, especially financially. We dont talk with our mom so she is like my mom. she threw me my shower and has spent a lot of $$ on my wedding so far.I know she wanted a digital camera so I am ging to get her one and give to her at the Rehearsal Dinner...

Could you please post your brand, how many megapixels you have and how much you paid... I know they could run a lot of $$ but I saw ones for like $200-$250 and they are made by Sony... i dont want to go cheap but i cant afford the top of the line.. any suggestions?

I have the Canon 3.2 megapixel Elph camera which I love.. my moh and bridesmaids bought it for me- my mih is my sister.

i know she wants and needs one so i figured i get her one but not the same one...

I have the Sony cybershot DSC-P72 3.2 megapixels. I got it from Best Buy for $275

I recently got the HP Photoshop 735 as a gift. The shutter lag time was incredible long. So I returned it and bought the Canon G5. It was on sale for 584 at Circuit City online and I picked it up there. It's 5 MP.

Even on the default settings it takes incredible pics. I got 512MB Compact Flash and get about 250 pics. The reader helps alot when you have more than one memory card.

We have the Song cyber Shot 5.0 Mega Pixels. It's a great camera, I think we paid $499 for it, not sure, but we had gift certificates to best buy and we sold our old one so it didnt hit us to hard in the pocket book. To be honest though I dont think 5.0 is nessasary, unless she plans on printing 11x14 pictures, if I am not mistaken the 4.o goes up to 8x10 and the 3.2 goes up to 5x7. I would also try to get either Canon or Sony.
