My dad asked me the other day if I had picked a song yet..so I wanted to maybe make a CD of some good songs and give it to him to see which one he likes! So please tell me what song you're going with so I can get some ideas! Thanks!!

I loved her first-you can listen to a short clip if you're impatient :) from bestbuy.com-they let you hear excerpts of each song on a CD-PERFECT lyrics. My dad actually told my FH one day (before I chose song) and I happened to overhear 'You know I loved her first before you knew her, so if you ever get tired of her or decide you cant work it out, just bring her home and we will always take her back.'

So it just FITS!

Thats so cute what your daddy said. My parent's told my FI - no backsies.

I don't know if anyone has heard of the song but it is by Tim McGraw and it is called 'My Little Girl' it is a tear jerker!

I danced to When Love Comes To Town by U2. It really has nothing to do with weddings or father/daughter for that matter but it's my dads fav song. It was fun and not mushy which made it perfect. But here are a few suggestions from weddings I have been to:

What A Wonderful World- Louis Armstrong
Through The Years- Kenny Rogers
In My Life- The Beatles

That's awesome! That's one of my favorite U2/BB King songs... i'm psyched to hear you used it for father/daughter dance (and your dad has great taste).
