Re: Please post your Wedding Weather Superstitions
If you are Catholic you put the Blessed Mother facing out the window for nice weather. I have also heard that throwing a dirty sock on your back lawn (if you have one) works.Crazy, but you never know.
PS...
If your not Catholic, I will put my Mary in my window for you.
If you don't have a backyard, I'll throw my dirty sock out for you!
GOOD LUCK!!!

Re: Please post your Wedding Weather Superstitions
If you stick a knife in the gound it is not supposed to rain. This worked for my SIL, it stopped raining 1/2 hour before their outside cermony started, and the sun came out.

Yeah, I'll put the blessed mother in the window and I will pray to St. Jude. My grandmother always prayed to him for lost causes and it always worked

Re: Please post your Wedding Weather Superstitions
I think I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure the day is what I want it to be, which means, I'm going to wake up!!All this using religious icons for weather purposes freaks me out. And the sticking a knife in the ground thing makes me thing of witch craft.

I taped my invitation to the window facing out, and hung rosary beads in the window as well. It was still raining when I got up but, by 11:00AM had stopped. Good Luck!!Welcome New Vendors
