Please Pray for FH ***FURTHER UPDATED BACK FROM THE HOSPITAL***

Hey Girls! So yesterday was a rough day after I left work. FH stayed home from work yesterday because for about 5 or 6 days he has been having some sharp back pain and yesterday when he woke up he could barely move. After resting for the day he decided to go to the walk in medical to see what they thought it might be. He sat in the waiting room for 2 hours and they finally saw him yesterday at 4:50pm. I met him there after I left my office at 5pm. When he opened the door to the waiting room to meet me, he looked dead. Seriously as white as a ghost. Very pale and weak. I asked him what happened and he said that while the Dr. was examining and diagnosing him he passed out!! He wasn't hot, he had eaten and he wasn't in severe pain at the time when he passed out. The Dr. took his blood pressure several times and there was only a slight change from when he first arrived at the Dr. She gave him some juice and said it had to have been his blood sugar and then she prescribed muscle relaxants and a pain reliever. So diagnosed it as 'Tension Headaches'. FH doesn't fit that diagnoses. He is never stressed, never worried. He lets everything roll off his back. I don't know what is going on and I think it might be something more, maybe a pinched nerve or maybe something worse. I keep asking him to let me take him to the emergency room to get X-rays or and MRI just to make sure there is nothing there, but he is saying the medicine is helping so he doesn't want to go. I am so scared. All I keep thinking about is that girl I told you about, who lost her fiance after going to the dr. for a headache and he never came out. Please pray for FH! I am so worried about him

UPDATE: So FH has finally agreed that the medicine isn't really helping and that we need to go somewhere else to get him checked out. So we will probably be in the Emergency room for the night. Pray for us!!

NEW UPDATE: So we just got back from seeing the Dr. They ran a ton of tests and were much much more thorough than the stupid walk in medical he went to yesterday. Oh and he tells me that he only saw a Physician's Assistant yesterday not even a DR! GOOD LORD! So they did a Pee test, a blood work up and X-rays. The Pee test and X-rays came back completely clear! THANK GOD! It will take a week to hear back about the blood test (they are testing for Lime's Disease). So her final diagnoses was Pluracy (an inflammation of the lining of the lungs, and general muscle inflammation due to his line of work. So he is still a bit uncomfortable but we ruled out a lot of biggies!!!!!! YAY! THANK GOD!!

I will think of the both of you in my prayers. I know its esier said than done, but try not to stress out too much. He will be fine....

Oh im so praying all is ok. I seriously think you need him to get to a doctor & get some Xrays & have some blood work taken asap! Stress it you never know what it could be. Bettr safe then sorry. Explain to him how worried you are 7 it would make both of you feel better to know. Good Luck!

oh Jess, i hope he mans up and lets you take him to the emergency room. I mean, even if it shows nothing you'd both feel a lot better. Tension headache is causing him to not be able to move? I dont know....I hope he feels better

I will keep him in my prayers. You should try to convince him to see a neurologist. If he does truely have tension headaches he should have a doctor who is trained in that area to monitor him properly. If there is something else going on a specialist is best trained to address it.

That is a good idea. Thanks! Have you had tension headaches before? This is his first one ever. Should he go to a neurologist regarding the first one??

Thanks for all your prayers girls. He says he is feel better today. I am wondering if that is just the muscle relaxants and the pain killers that are masking the symptoms.

definitely beg him to see another dr to have an MRI/xrays. He's prob right and it's prob nothing, however, just always be on the safe side! God forbid there is something wrong, the earlier you find out the sooner he'll be better!
