Please pray for FMIL today........Updated on bottom.

JT's mom goes in for her biopsy today on her lung. If it is malignant, they will be removing half her lung. Please send prayers our way that she will have the best possible outcome. Thank you

my mom had a carcinoid tumor in her lung 2 years ago...they removed it along with a piece of her lung...we were just so happy it wasn't malignant...I know how scary it can be waiting to find out. Your fmil will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers along with you and your fh and your families!

Hi girls. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes. THis is the first time I've really had to sit down at a computer since Monday. FMIL had her surgery Monday, and they removed two thirds of her lung What they found was cancer and I'm not sure where she is going to take it from here. She's in a lot of pain, but luckily, they moved her out of the ICU last night. She told us she does not need chemo, but from what we gathered from a conversation his dad told us about, she does need it and has not come to terms with that yet. So I guess we'll see Thanks again everyone for your thoughts and prayers

I will continue to pray for your FMIL.

My FMIL had that surgery as well last year. She did have to go thru chemo but for the most part she is ok now.

Right after her surger, my FMIL was in a lot of pain as well. It will take a while but she will start to feel better. Make sure she does her breathing exercises and if you want to do something nice for her, my FMIL was in desperate need of a light weight, comfy sports bra that fastened in the front... I'm pretty sure your FMIL would appreciate them too. You can get them from Activa.
