PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM...:(

I am so upset! Let me start by telling you guys that one of my best friends in the world is my ex boyfriend. I love him to death and my husband knows this and knows him. He was my HS sweetheart and we broke up after he left for Germany in the army. He came home to stay in 1998 and has been here at home ever since. Although he is still a part of the reserves. He is the type of man that joined the army not only for the benefits but for truly what he could do for his country. So anyway...

He calls me last night and starts out by saying..Noreen...please dont be upset but I need to tell you something. I knew right away. He put himself on the active list for the army 2 months ago and now he LEAVES FOR IRAQ ON MONDAY! I cant believe this. I am so sad, worried, and upset. I dont want him to go and I feel like Im losing a part of my heart. He is so proud to be going but I am afraid that he will not come home. He claims that this new alert is because of the fact that Bush will be declaring soon and when we hit them..they are going to hit us right back.

Please say a prayer for him and keep him and all others that are getting shipped over seas in your thoughts. I know that he is not the only one and that I am not the only one affected by this but I think we need to focus on whats really imprtant right now more than ever. Im seeing him Sunday to say goodbye...but I dont know how to. I have had to say bye to him 4 times already and I dont know how to do it again. Any advice? I didnt sleep all night and cried all day.

This picture is one of my most treasured pictures from my wedding. Some of the girls on here even thought that it was him that I married..but we just have that connection with each other. He is such a part of my past and and of my heart. Just please keep him in mind. God Bless you all and stay safe!
