Please pray for my dad!

My dad got polio when he was 4yrs old (a yr before the vaccine came out) and the doctors told him he would never walk again, he was in and out of the hospitals. He was determined to walk and he did and hasnt stopped since, he is very strong and very stubborn. Over the past few years he has had 2 heart attacks and 2 major back surgeries. He has been diagnosed with post polio syndrom. This is something that is not currently treatable. He is very weak and tired and his legs are starting to give out. Its so sad for me to watch. He is seeing a new doc now that is very interested in his case and sees how determined my dad is to not let this over come him like he didnt when he was a kid. I am just praying this docotr will be able to find something to do for him!!! They have tried so many things and nothing has helped. I hope he will be able to walk me down the aisle....pleasse pray for a miracle!!!!!

I am sooo sorry to hear you are going through this - this is terrible to watch - just be strong for him...(try to I know it is easier said than done)

I totally understand what you are going through with the polio...my mom had polio when she was 5 and she was better and was ok over the years - to find out after 30 years it comes back - the doctors wanted to fuse her legs (so she would have no feeling and would walk like stilts she refused) so she is in pain every day...
