We found out that she has uterine cancer.

I don't know what happens next. I just desperately need some hugs and good words. FH is at work so I am sitting here alone and I can't stop crying.

I am so sorry to hear that-

I know what you are going thru- and you have a tough road ahead- you need to be strong for your Mom- and think only good, postive thoughts - and be there for your Mom- she really needs you now

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers

FM if you need to talk to some who has been there

I'm so sorry to hear that. If it's in it's early stages it's one of the most curable cancers there is.

I will pray for you and your mom and keep praying until you have good news. Stay strong for your mom and try to be positive. She can beat this.

On a hopeful note, I knew some women with uterine cancer, and it was very treatable...

It will be okay if they caught it early. My mom found out she had it when she was pregnant with my sister. It was 1970, Roe v Wade hadn't been decided (although abortion was legal in NY, but barely), and the MDs weren't willing to risk a lawsuit. For 9 months she carried that baby, and the cancer. My sister is now 35, and mom is still alive and kicking, and that same sister gave birth to her own beautiful little girl this past June.
