Please pray for my uncle...
He has multiple myloma and fell last week and broke his clavicle in multiple places. He's very disoriented in the hospital right now. He keeps yelling out for his WWII buddies. ![]()
. He's only 77, though... a very classy and chic man... so funny.
What's upsetting is that he LOVES life and is young at heart and loves to party and was SO looking forward to my wedding and now he can't come. I can't imagine my wedding without him there, and I know he won't be there. The bigger picture is his health, of course, and it doesn't look good.![]()
Please pray for my Uncle Johnnie. First and foremost for his health... and this one's a long shot, but that he'll be at my wedding celebrating with me somehow.
*Interesting note... mom's brothers were friends with Mario Puzo when they were younger and Mario Puzo was writing The Godfather, and the character's name Johnnie Fontaine was based on my Uncle John, John Fontana. (actually, a lot of the character's names in The Godfather were based on my mom's side of the family because they were neighbors with the Puzo's). I always thought that was so cool.![]()
