PLEASE PRAY!!! I NEED YOUR PRAYERS A LOT RIGHT NOW!!
This has been a REALLY crazy month! It all started back January 8th when my sister was put in the hospital with severe stomach pains. Turns out she has Divaticulitus(I know I totally butchered the word, sorry! ![]()
) which is inflamation of the stomach. She just has to be careful about eating certain foods. Then the 9th Angelo's sister went back to Italy and we won't see her again til the wedding, in October. It was the first time I ever met her and her family since knowing Angelo for three years. Then my Uncle John, who was told he was cancer free, now has it back again and has prostate cancer.
My Aunt, his wife, and my mother's only sister that's left(her other sister died 10 years ago right after her parents) has had terribly swollen legs and they don't know what's wrong. She's now saying she's been dizzy and nauseous. They are the NICEST people! He's a VERY famous builder on Long Island, very wealthy, but you'd never know it. Just really, down to earth, humble, Godly people. Also a really good friend of ours has bladder cancer and is in extreme pain. He's so young, too, just in his 30's. The FUNNIEST person you'd ever meet. He makes US laugh when he's sick, and always stays extremely positive no matter what. They can't even operate on him because it will spread so quickly if they do. Nothing is helping him either.
THEN, yesterday we get a call that my mom's cousin was found on the floor in the bathroom, by her young grandaughter(she was at her daughter's house, but thank God her daughter and son-in-law were home). They don't know what's wrong or how long she'd been out, but she's been having a lot of seizures, and they can't even tell if there's brain activity yet because of that. They're going to take her off the seizure meds tomorrow, slowly, so they can see if there's brain activity. She was JUST at our engagement party January 5th. She's had A LOT of health problems, but this was a shocker. No one expected it. I went to see her today and I'm just extremely upset. She's such a wonderful lady, has a husband and 4 grown children. I can't imagine how they're all feeling right now. If I'm this upset, I can't imagine them. If it were my mom, I'd be a mess.
With that all said, I TRULY believe in the power of prayer. God says if we have faith the size of a mustard seed(extremely small seed) we can move mountains! PLEASE pray and believe, without any doubt that God can heal all of the above. Pray that when they take my mom's cousin off the meds tomorrow that there is brain activity and hope she will come out ok. I want her to be at our wedding so much. We're all really close to her. I don't know what God's will is in all of this, but I'm still going to believe He can heal them, unless it is His will to take them Home to Heaven. Thanks so much to all of you for your prayers.
