Special thoughts and prayers for Mom

After having almost having a brush with BC, I can tell you that there are wonderful things out there to help your mom. Stay on top of all of the new advances and things on the horizon. There is a website that I have been on that is so helpful in dealing with this, it's healingwell.com

Keep in mind that your mom's will to fight is a major factor. Be supportive as I know you will and know that there will be frustrating and scary times ahead, but keep the faith and I will send my prayers and good vibes your way so your mom will have a full recovery. Many more women survive BC these days than in the past.

As you know, early screening is important. Now that your mom has been diagnosed continue to do self exams and go get a mammo when your doc deems appropriate.

I wish your mom lots of good luck in her fight and hope she can sail through this bump in the road like a champ.
