My prayers are with you and your family!!!

Hang in there my mother beat cancer over 10 years ago. The medicines they have now are amazing!

My grandfather also has severe emphysema and he just had a hip transplant and another relatively serious surgery and he's doing great!!!

I am so sorry you're going through this. It has to be hard...especially being you're so close to your Mom. Keep your strength and faith. Miracles to happen. Hopefully she'll be able to stop smoking, strengthen her lungs and be able to have the surgery to end the cancer. She will be in my thoughts in prayers as well as your entire family.
