Re: Please Proof Read my Invitation wording
looks good, but are you sure all of your guests have internet access? I know it seems silly in these days, but I know my older guests as well as a few friends still do not.

Re: Please Proof Read my Invitation wording
looks good. as far as teh divorced thing, I am having it say
son of Mr. Smith and Mrs. Smith
instead fo Mr. and Mrs smith.
but honestly, I don't know what right. That's what I have seen in the past. I am going to ask my invite girl when I see her next!

i was actually thinking the same thing...my parents are divorced so i think i would write
Mr. John Smith and Mrs. Jane Smith
instead of Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Re: Please Proof Read my Invitation wording
You are right girls! I googled how to word invite when you have divorced parents and you have to spell out their first names.

Re: Please Proof Read my Invitation wording
I don't now why but I remember someone telling me FH's last name should be on it because your parents are 'introducing' him?? did anyone else ever hear of this?

I've heard the same thing. Usually since in this case the brides parents are hosting, you don't include her last name, but still include his last name, along with his parents' names.
also, take out the 'and' in two thousand eleven.

I would change his parents to 'Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Johnson' - keep it separate since they're divorced.
I think Lsorrent did this on her invitation because her parents are divorced but mom still kept the name? Might be thinking ofsomeone else though...
Otherwise, looks great to me!
ETA: Jsut saw that this was already discussed. Sorry!

this is correct, your FH last name should be listed as well on the invite, unless you really don't want it on there
