Please READ & ANSWER!!

it is a very difficult situation. I actually know somebody who almost the same thing happened. It was a bit different and his gf never left him or anything like that. Some guy did something to his gf, grabbing her and being aggressive. The bf found out soon after, he flipped out when he found out. He went after the guy but he was alone while the other guy was with others so he went there with a bat. They got into a fist fight, he hit the guy with a bat and killed the guy. I knew the guy and yes he was a nice guy and not a bad person but i don't agree with what he did. If you're going to hit someone with a bat then you can expect that you might cause severe damage or kill them, so the moment you go get the bat you know what youre doing. Its weird though but he didnt do life in prison, i think bc he came with a bat but didnt start hitting him, he did it just to scare the guys and the guys started attacking him, so there was a whole self-defense thing for him. I remember seeing him maybe 5 years later or just a little bit more than that, i was so shocked when i saw him, i was in home depot and i just remember thinking 'omg they let him out already'

It would depend alot on what guy 1 saw when he showed up at the place. Did his wife look hurt or like she was in any trouble? if so then maybe being scared for her life and his would be a bit more understandable why he hit the guy but he could've just done it without the bat. The guy 2 attack him or do anything to threaten him?

I know i cant imagine what she is thinking but i almost blame her for some of it..she cheats, leaves him but then wants his help..whats so sick is that the one who died, has beaten people up, sold drugs, beaten women, for years now and its so weird how charma works i think..his life is ended by getting beaten up something by someone who has never gotten into fights.ya know isnt that just messed up.

was she even in danger? or was she just so f*ed up on whatever she was on and freaking out. It is horrible and crazy how these things happen sometimes. I don't think guy 1 went there with intentions to kill him, and with the law theres different levels of murder, so they will play all this out in court. Theres the intent to kill somebody which would mean he would do more time. If they can prove that he went there with no intent to kill then that would work out better for him. The whole thing with her calling him and saying she was in danger and that he beat her would be a good reason for him to go there, and going with a bat was him just being afraid for his own life and scared about what this guy might do so they can say the bat was in self-defense and going into a home not knowing what the scene would be like or what danger was awaiting him. Then they'll also play out the fact that he has no record and is a good guy, and they will definitely show how guy 2 had a record and a history of being violent, which will show that guy 1 had a reason to be scared.

yeah Guy2 went at guy1, they think with something but not sure yet what he had. . and that was when guy1 ran to his car and grabbed the only thing he had in there a bat cause he played softball all the time. and honestly guy1 isnt small about 6'2 200lbs..but guy2 is 6'5 about 250lbs and used u no what 2 help make himself so big hence the temper he had..so he is BIG and very intimidating.. as far as what his wife was like when he got there isnt being said cause she is only witness right now..

well the fact that he didnt show up with a bat might be better for him, it really shows that he had no intent to kill, if he showed up with a bat from the beginning then it would be hard for his lawyers to say there was no intent. The fact that he went and got a bat only after he was attacked will show that it really was just self-defense. But then again he also had that moment of going from the apartment to the car and then back where he could've thought about it and not done it. Rather than just a bat was right there and he picked up the closest thing to him and reacted without thinking. Just depends on how good the lawyers are on either side to see who can play it out better. Also the courts can say that if he felt there was any real danger, if he had time to go to his car then he also had time to call the cops and let them handle it and get her out of any danger
