I'm reading Lipstick Jungle and loving it.
I also LOVED something borrowed and something blue - I plan on picking up the third one.
Jodi Piccoult is good too - I read My sister's keeper and nineteen minutes and didn't put either one down!!
'Everyone Worth Knowing' by Lauren Weisberger (the same author of The Devil Wears Prada) was great too.

anything by Sophie Kinsella (Shopaholic Series) she has a few other ones that are terrific
and anything my Jennifer Weiner. That movie In Her Shoes is based on her book. she has a few books too and they are all wonderful.
I have every book by these 2 authors, if you want them I have no problem sending you some!
Love these authors too!! Last summer I was reading one of the Jennifer Weiner books in Vegas and these girls were harassing me bc they hadn't read it yet and didn't know it had come out and they love her and blah blah! Umm, can I read my book in peace while I work on my tan??!!

The Last Lecture...it is nonfiction # 3 on the best sellers list...it seems like it would be morbid but its not...its so inspiring. Completely transformed my thinking on so many issues.

Re: please recommend a good book!
if you like chic lit, all 3 emily giffen books are awesome!
i just finished reading jen lancaster's 3 books - they're memoirs, and are hysterical. the first one, bitter is the new black, is quite annoying in the beginning, but then gets really good! the other books are bright lights big a$$ and such a pretty fat. i read such a pretty fat first, and it's still my favorite of the three.

I just finished Love the One You're With by Emily Giffin...loved it. If you haven't read her series yet, they're all great.
Another favorite author of mine is Adrianna Trigiani...anything by her! I last read her Big Stone Gap series when the newest one came out. I believe there are four now to the series. I think I read them all in about a month or so...LOVED them! I can't wait for her next book to come out.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I have read all of his books, too. I am getting ready to start his most recent...I can't think of the name right now though.
Oh, and the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz. So far I have read the first two in the series...there are two more. They're next on my list.
