Please Recommend Dance Instructors
Well, last night was a disaster on many, many levels. First off, it was completely false advertising on the part of LOTS. There was absolutely no instruction whatsoever! Everyone there was clearly semi-pro, and it was just a venue for showcasing their stuff. The instructors literally showed us the one two cha cha cha for 5 minutes and that was it. So we sat there like bumps watching the 60 year olds SCHOOL us. And they put this cracked out crazy cougar at our table who was all up in FH saying really weird things to him. Ugh.So FH is gloating because he's all I told you so, and LOVING the fact that in his head, he did better than me. So we still need lessons, and he's willing to do them now if they're private, or very small groups. Please recommend who you're using for instruction, and if you don't mind, what you're paying for how many sessions and what's included style wise.
TIA!!!

We used Dance Obsession in Farmingdale. Rosalie was excellent!I've heard lots of bad things about Arthur Murray, so we didn't even bother.

Re: Please Recommend Dance Instructors
I answered you on BHB, but i realized i never gave you the price. We're using John from Ballroom Dance (who we love) and he charges $75 a lesson (private) but if you pay for 4 at once he knocks $5 off each lesson, so its $280 for 4 - plus you get a free 30 min initial session so that you can feel it out first with no commitment.Welcome New Vendors
