Please say a prayer for my Uncle!!
He is such a dummy, and I say that because I love him. He was not feeling well a few weeks ago and instead of going to the doctor, he just stuck it out. Well, he was feeling so sick the other day that my aunt called the doctor and they said to bring him into the hospital. Well, tests revealed he had an infected gall bladder and a gall stone lodged somewhere near his liver. They had to do a procedure yesterday to remove the gall stone, before they could do the procedure today to remove the gallbladder. Well the first procedure went well, but todays is not going well. When the doctors cut my uncles stomach open today to remove his gallbladder, it basically exploded when they touched it and gang green (sp?) was released into his body. They removed as much of the gang green as possible and will be putting him on VERY strong atibiotics to try and kill the infection. We are so worried!! I am so mad at my uncle, because he was so worried about starting his new job next week as a high school principal, he didn't want to be bothered with having surgery that would interfere with the new job. Well, now because he waited and they had to cut him open as opposed to a laproscopic procedure, he is going to miss almost two months of work. I m so mad at him for not taking care of himself first. I just hope he is ok. The sound of gang green just doesn't sound good. My aunt told us, that the doctor said if he had waited another week, he would be dead. I am just praying he comes through this. This is my moms broter and she will just be absolutely devestated if something happens to her brother. She has already lost her parents, her son, and many others that were too young to die. Please say a prayer or just a positive thought for my uncle!! Thank you!!
