Please say a prayer....UPDATED

Hey ladies...so my father is getting test results back from a tumor that was found on his kidney last week. I've been hush about it because I am just trying to keep positive. Today my family is all meeting and going to the Dr. together at 8 to meet and discuss the situation and get the results. I'm sick to my stomach all day with nerves. If you can all just say a little prayer for my father...thanks

UPDATE:

Ladies thank you so much for your prayers. It turns out that my father has kidney cancer of the lining of his kidney. It is malignant but the outcome is good because they were able to catch it very early. He will have surgery to remove his kidney, ureter and partial bladder but no chemo and he will be good to go after. So although you hear cancer and you get scared, we are all relieved to at least know it is able to be taken care of. Thakn you again for all your prayers!

My father had the same on his left kidney almost 2 years ago.

I'll keep your father and you and your family in my prayers. It's very hard to wait for results, but hopefully it will be OK.

I am in the same situation with FH's grandmother..they found a tumor on her ovary and and cancerous cells in her stomach..she had a biopsy on Friday..we get the results back thurs or fri...she has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks


On a kinda good note..my mom had a cancerous tumor on her kidney...she was in the hospital for 2-3 weeks and had half of her kidney removed and she is perfectly fine now!..

I am glad to hear that your mother had such a great outcome, I am hoping for the same for my father. Maybe that is why the doctor wanted all of us there because of the surgery and recovery. That is what I am hoping.
