Yup. One of my BM's works there and it is true. That's the only reason why I registered for some stuff there!!!

What about if someone buys you something from there that's not on your registry that you don't want. Could I add it to my registry and then return it for cash?

When people buy things for you that aren't on your registry, they get added to it anyway...I don't know if that makes sense at all. I bought a shower gift for a friend who had registered for an iron or something and they didn't have the exact one she chose in stock, so I picked a different one for her and they added it to her registry when I checked out.

ETA: They have to give your registry form though...I was purchasing 3 items for her and 2 of them were on it so the third got added.

Yes it is true. Isn't that the best thing?!!!! I think that is so amazing that they do that. Because sometimes you get 2 or even 3 of the same thing and your don't get a receipt with the gift, so I think that is so nice!

Sorry, I am not sure about returning something that is not on your registry.

Yep, it's true. Fh and I received a broken item and went back to the store to exchange it. They offered the option of cash back or an exchange.

Usually, they add it to the registry--that's what happened when folks bought stuff for me that was not on my registry from BBB.. If that's the case, then I guess you can.

Yes, you can register for gift cards... I think the amounts are $25, $50, and $100

You can also return items from your registry up to 2 years after your wedding date. It's great b/c if you registered for something and then realized later on that you're never going to use it, BBB lets you return it. They have the best return policy. It's definitely worth registering there.

wait a second, though. Will the item appear back on your registry as if it was never purchased? That might be bad because then people will see you returned their gifts.

I returned some items that I received off my registry and was handed cash. And, yes, you can register for gift cards as well.

After I returned the items, I went online and deleted those items off my registry. I also deleted the items that were purchased, but I wanted to keep. I just left items that were not purchased.

YUP!!! WE did just make sure its on your registry DONT CHANGE ANYTHING- Meanin dont delete from the computer or edit OUT something that is on your registry.

We got back over 300, I got doubles and after having the items home I realized I just dont have room for them.

I also received Gift cards but kept those.
