PLEASE- Show me what you wore...

to your engagement party!

I really can't afford to buy anything new and I'm not sure what I should wear. My FH wants to wear jeans so I want to look nice but not overly formal. (It's at 4pm on a Sunday at an Italian restuarant).

Show me what you wore for ideas!

Not having a party, so I can't tell you what I wore...

But if I had to raid my own closet, I'd porbably wear nice, fitted dark wash jeans, heels and a sweater in a fantastic color... or a flattering blouse. Casual but put together

What have you got in your closet, I'm sure you have something.

This is what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if I should wear a dress. I don't wear heels because FH has a height complex

we had a relaxed backyard eparty. i wore a dress and FH khakis...

i wore a long halter sundress... ours was on a sunday @ 4 too!! FH wore dockers and a dress shirt (no tie)

Well, it's YOUR eparty, so I'm sure if you have a dress you'd like to wear, it would be perfectly appropriate.

If FH is wearing jeans, you could still wear a dress if you want, as long as it's not too dressy, but if you want to wear jeans that would be cool too

You all have such cute dresses!

I think I am probably going to wear a dress. I have this really cute red, wrap dress that is casual but put together. It's very Mrs. Cunnigham from Happy Days! Haha. I don't love how I look in red though.

I will have to dig through my closet and see what else is in there!

We did a laid back BBQ in the backyard and my FH wore khaki shorts and a polo shirt. I wore white linen pants from New York & Company and a black and white pretty top from Forever 21. I borrowed my FSIL's silver sandles which were flat and comfortable.
