I wanted all up and back also, but not high on the head and with a side part, and not slicked back to my head....here's what I ended up with:

This was one all up-do I liked


But I think I am going with this half up-do, just changing the bangs so they sweep a little lower on each side.

Just to let you know - I showed that to my hairstylist and she said that the girl in the pic has very long and thick hair. you can tell by how thick the pieces are. My hair is to about the top of my boobs (just touches my bra in the front) and a little thin, and she said it wouldn't look that way on me.

Thanks for the heads up..my hair is very thick..always has been!! So it may work. After my wedding my hair girl is gonna thin it as much as possible...I want thinner hair!!!
