I let my dad pick--he chose 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'--the Hawaiian version

Then we're going to transition to 'Under the Sea' from the Little Mermaid, because my dad and I used to dance around the house to that...it's a little cheesey, I know, but I think it's cute.

somewhere out there- an american tale

my father and i watched that movie EVERY friday while I was growing up... at my brothers wedding, 15 years ago, they played it, he stood me up on a chair so I could dance with him and he said 'this what we'll dance to at your wedding'

although, now he tells me he doesn't want a father/daughter dance at all (he doesn't like being the center of attention) but the second that song plays he'll say 'this is what we're dancing to'

yea, i can't listen to it without getting teary-eyed.
