please tell me how to act

when i go to my moms with fh and she tellls us to eat. but we already ate.. so clearly im not hungry..

and fh is just a pig and eats anything u put infront of him... even if he will be sick after from over eating


basically yesterday we wnet over there.. i had JUSSSSSSSSSST finished my last bite of egg bagel sandwhich i made . ( i took it in the car with me) i was telling fh that i couldnt even finish it cuz i was soo full.


welll..we get to my moms and shes the typical greek mom. 'eat eat' fh says OK not to hurt her feelings.. in 2 seconds she sets out this huge effin spread of food. and shes FORCING me to eat. i say no thanks like 3 fkn times.. then fh starts..to kiss her ***.. telling me ':oh cmmon have some with mee. ' im lke no babe u know i just ate. him 'yea but cmon its good have a lil'


then i get angry and dropped the f-bomb 'i said i am NOt FKN HUNGRY!!!!!!!! ENOUGH!'

they both push me with EVERYTHING til the point i explode.

i just got off the phone with my mom and she started lecturing me how i shoudl be more respectfl.

so ladies.. WHA THE FKKKKKKKKKKKKK WOULD U HAVE DONE?!!!!!!!!

cuz apparently im nasty and dont know how to be polite.

I guess...I dunno. I guess I'd have a talk with your mom about how sometimes when you come over you are not hungry and don't want to eat...and you appreciate what she does for you and just because you don't want to eat doesn't mean you don't appreciate her...

...but from everything you've said so far that probably won't work so in the future I just wouldn't eat if you know you're gonna be going over there. That way you can eat what she puts out and there will be no drama.

Although she might get upset because you aren't eating the amount she wants you to...I don't know. Mamas are crazy haha

Barb don't curse in front of ur mom. Ur mom sounds like mine and cursing is something that is a total taboo.

Also make sure not to eat before u go to ur mom's. Or if u do, when she pits food in front of u, put some on ur plate and hold a fork. Don't eat anything just look as if u are. I used to do the same w/my grampa's wife lol. She never noticed the diference.
Another thing I did wasv when being asked what do I want to eat (eventho I wsnt hungry) I would say cup of cofee w/some desert. And then sip from the cup and do the pretend eating thing.

I am very sneaky when it comes to family and food. Lol.
Try this next time, it works.

i tried that and then dumped my food in fhs palte then he loudly say s'ohh cmmmonnnnnnnn did u see what she just did?!!' and rat me out.

I don't know hon, I'm so sorry you gotta deal with the crap, family **** s sometimes (MOST times, who the eff am I kidding?)

Since you know your mom is going to want you to eat when you get to her house, probably the best thing to do is if you know you are heading to her house and you are hungry, make something light that way you have some space to eat something when you visit.

You know your mom and just like my mom, she wants you to eat her food!! IMO Even though we are adults and living our own lives, I think it is kind of their way to assure themselves that we still need them.

mr. kiss arse even drank SODA.. she poured him SODA and not only did he drink it.. we were outsideeeeeeeeeeee wlaking to the car and he ran backk in to get the can that still had some left!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had this problem with my friend's family.... they thought I was too thin and prob thought my family starved me back then.

Anyway...I would try that and totally call him out in front of your mom on his Arse kissing. Make him drink an extra can of soda or tell your mom to make something he really hates to eat and take pleasure in him scoffing it down to be nice... and egg him on about it.

Anyway...I would try that and totally call him out in front of your mom on his Arse kissing. Make him drink an extra can of soda or tell your mom to make something he really hates to eat and take pleasure in him scoffing it down to be nice... and egg him on about it.

Aww, my grandparents always make us eat when we come over regardless if we just ate, have a party to go to or whatever. FH never wants to say no either and will just eat to make them happy. I just say no or eat a little bit if we have plans to eat afterwards or if we ate before.

I would just not eat before going to her house because that sounds exactly like my family - can never say NO to food, they will make you eat or ask you 50000 times if you're hungry even if you say no.

OMG that is an AWWWWWWESOME idea!!!! Just say 'Mom, Will's soda looks a little low, I think he needs a refill!!'
