I am sure I am freaking out, our response date is still 2 weeks away (from tomorrow), but I have only received back 34 cards....that makes 19 No and 66 Yes. The yes's include bridal party that have not sent in responses. We invited 256...so where are the rest of them!?!?!? A couple people told me at my shower (Apr 30) they were coming, fine, but what about everyone else?!?!
I am FREAKING out b/c our minimum is 175... I am PETRIFIED we won't meet it.
The responses were 3-4 a day, it's now been 1 a day since Saturday!!!!
ETA: Add in 7 more 'yes' for our vendors...so that's 73...WAY below 175

i've decided people are just idiots and there's nothing you can do to fix it. some people NEVER learn how polite and courteous it is to stick that little card in the mail!

Ok at this point I would be calling people. I wouldn't care how long it took me to go through the list but I would get their responses by phone. I don't think I could tolerate worrying everyday. Hang in there!

oh I am dreading the response card fiasco's. I dont understand why people cant just say yes or no and drop it in the mail.
they dont even have to put a stamp on it! its all done already!!

If they still have 2 weeks until the RSVP date then I wouldn't worry just yet. A lot of people wait until the last minute to send them back. You will probably get the most the last week of the RSVP and also the week after since people will realize that its due & send it in. I'd say 2 days after the RSVP deadline I'd call everyone who hasn't responded.

That scares me!!!! He I am planning on inviting like 230 people and I keep saying my min. is 175 and I hope a lot say no but then i will wind up in the same position!!! And it's not like they have to put a stamp on it!!!

This is a big fear of ours too. They are coming in pretty quickly now but the invites went out only a week ago. I am sure it will slow down. I think it will be okay for you. I just don't think people realize how much we are all waiting for those little RSVPs.

I am in a similar boat - people tell me they got the invite, and tey are coming - so why arent they sending back the RSVP's??? I don't get it???

Thank you for taking the time to read/reply. I am mostly 'upset' about not knowing if we'll meet our minimum, that is my greatest fear.
I had slightly lost sight of who WILL be there! And what this day is for.
I know it'll get better, and hey, if we're short, I'll make sure we have an LIW table or two!

I got most of mine the day they were due, so I know its hard but try not to stress about it.
